Niche profile

Construction

Armor mesh (540g/m2, 330 mm width) is manufactured and outfitted in accordance with DFBT directives. Niche profile is of 88o angle with sharp edges and is already precut and bonded for niche corners.

Advantage

Niche profile is designed for faster workmanship at niche areas. Due to its shape, perfect overlaying of insulating board with mesh is achieved. Thanks to its high stability it also protects edges and preset angle allows precise corner building. Because of coarse mesh, it can be used also in mineral plaster systems. Since it comprises no additional reinforcing material, it is not a foreign object in thermal system.

Workmanship

At corners and in niches reinforcing mortar should be applied and then niche profile should be pushed into corners. Overlapping mesh, including that one at window frames, has to be precisely cut to plane. Finally, it comes to remaining reinforcement of corner and then to surface reinforcement. All bonds must be overlaid.
